Teaching Tip #1: Advanced Piano practice with real-time dynamics feedback
When practicing the piano, we often need to carefully voice each note of a chord played within the same hand. This meticulous and deliberate approach to voicing chords is a vital aspect of professional piano playing.
Sometimes, the goal is to voice a chord evenly, creating a choral-like and powerful sound. At other times, we may choose to emphasize the top note or an inner voice, achieving a rich polyphonic effect.
Using MidiSticker’s coloring functions, you can explore piano voicings in classical repertoire with visual feedback on dynamics. This approach is not only highly engaging and enjoyable but also an effective way to sharpen your listening skills. Plug your MIDI Controller and let’s go!
