MidiStickers v1.1 introduces Guided Practice

The latest MidiStickers update introduces a Guided Practice mode, a hub for practicing scales, chords and progressions .

Introducing Guided Pratice

With the new Guided Practice mode, you can pursue Practice Tracks, carefully curated list of exercises with built-in progress tracking.

The progression of those exercises was carefully designed to guide you through increasingly advanced concepts. You can think of these exercises as a digital workbook, covering everything from intervals and scales to triads, seventh chords, chord progressions and extended harmony. Other advanced topics such as altered dominants, Drop 2 jazz voicings and 18th-century Partimento schemas are also included.

Alongside Guided Practice, version 1.1 introduces two new trainer tools: the Scale Trainer and Progression trainer. Beyond the structured Practice Tracks, these tools offer many additional exercises, providing hours of exploration and hands-on training.

With this upgrade, MidiStickers evolves from a tool primarily aimed at teachers and advanced musicians into a plataform that can also benefit students of all ages.

Built on decades of experience teaching in higher education, this update reflects a core belief: developing practical keyboard harmony skills is essential, and traditional textbooks alone are not enough. The new Guided Practice feature is a step towards more integrated, hands-on music theory learning, and you can expect more to come from that direction in the next updates.
